Pillar Candle Care
Before you light the candle
Before lighting, remove any labels.
Protect your space
Please place on a ceramic plate or heat resistant tray to catch for the wax drippings to prevent damage to your table surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not leave burning candles near any flammable materials.
Controlling your flame size
If the flame is too large, it means the wick needs a trim. Extinguish the candle by dunking the wick into the wax pool, trim the wick, straighten and relight.
If a ‘carbon cap’ globule forms on the tip, trim the wick. Please see Candle Care Tool Kit to get your own candle care tools and further instructions.
How to properly distinguish your candle
Instead of blowing out the candle, dunk the wick into the wax pool and straighten. This ensures an easier relight and prevents the wick from smoking. When you light your candle, light the base of the wick not the tip.
